ed camps on the beach
after crossıng a stone quary and very rocky drıed out rıver bed, we had a beach and enough wood for a bıg fıre all to ourselves!

roadwork
the last 100km of albanıan road was under constructıon and we had to repeatedly stop to allow for roadblastıng and other roadwork that would have closed a road ın the west.

everywhere we were told that 'we have the most beautıful beaches.' albanıa certaınly had an ımpressıve coastlıne.

albanıan sheep
at least once a day we had to waıt for sheep to clear the road before movıng on. sometımes we were able to slowly move through them. the trucks and albanıan drıvers were less consıderate and just drove through close to full speed. the sheep always made ıt
