Da Singapur auf die dauer ja doch etwas langweilig wird gibt es immer wieder ein paar Leute die auf gute Ideen kommen. Diesmal war es Joelle und Kristin. Ein Pub Crawl! Hier Joelles Orginalnachricht in Englisch:

WHAT? Purple Line MRT Crawl Baby!

WHEN? 7pm, Saturday, 22th Juli 2007 (tentative)

WHERE? Punggol MRT Station all the way to HarbourFront

For those unfamilliar with the MRT Crawl: basically we get together a group of like-minded people who know how to get drunk…. the aim of the game is to stop at almost every MRT station for one drink before jumping onto the next MRT (a very popular activity in my Scottish homeland!). The outcome = a group of very happy, drunk Singapore interns!

The Green Line MRT Crawl didn’t make it all the way before midnight – we will, even if it means lliterally crawling to St. James!

If you’re game, then I need you to confirm your name and t-shirt size (S,M,L) to my e-mail add: joelle_kong@... The t-shirts will be conveniently purple. I will need numbers by the end of next week so that I can get the printers onto the t-shirts and get some money collecting.

Please only confirm your place if your definitely coming. I don’t want 10 disowned purple t-shirts by the end of this ! :P

Fuer die nicht englisch Sprecher nochmal zusammengefasst. Wir Treffen und and der S-Bahn (MRT) fahren von einem Ende zum anderen. Halten an jeder Station, finden eine Bar und da gibts dann nen Drink. Das ganze ist mit oder ohne Bahn sehr beliebt in Schottland. Damit auch jeder weiss wem er hinterherlaufen muss gibt es lila T-Shirts mit der Route drauf und dem glorreichen Spruch. MRT Pubcrawl 07 – Whatever-Lah! Insgesammt waren wir ca. so 40 Leute. Und wir haben tatsaechlich die komplette Linie geschafft! Danach ging es noch ins St. James (mehrere Discos in einem Gebaeude) das praktischeweise gleich neben dem letzten Stop liegt. Insgesammt war es eine sehr geniales Event.
