Find accommodation in BarrieThe Need For Offspring

I am marrying my two crusades. The first is I want a pug. My biological clock has kicked in and what it is demanding is not human offspring. It demands a pug in a super hero costume. Also in a kimono. I do not care if it is a boy or a girl. Either way it will be loved. Deeply and dearly. The other thing I want is money. I have my computer and 3 planned trips (Italy, Cuba, and Vietnam), in the next year. Plus living in Europe means many possibilities for other trips. Itâs the glory of over population in rich countries. And if this is the world our planet has decided we wanted, who am I to judge? (well, I do judge, but I can gladly take advantage when it suits me as well. Especially since the bees and Albert Einstein agree that the end is nigh.)
OMG, but I have to share that. Skye just stole my alarm clock and ran for it. Only she ran straight into the wall and knocked herself flat on her back.
No obstacles other than that wall growing closer and closer. :P
I shouldnât be laughing like this.

1 Week To Germany
14. Avril 2007 | en
My final acceptance kit for SWAP has been mailed to me. I admit I was beginning to fear that the whole process was going to take 4 weeks exactly, leaving me with, oh 1 day to pick up my passport before having to get on a plane. :P I can now breath that I will have my passport back 4 days before getting on the plane. Wheeeee! (sorry to those who hoped to foil my escape and lure me back to Newfoundland).
In fairness before I left for Korea my passport arrived at 2 30 on a Thursday and I was leaving at 6 am the following morning. So this doesnât count at as the closest Iâve cut it. Just the first time it was cut that close on my own cash.

Tutu Princess Supreme
25. Mars 2007 | en
I so rock as an aunt. Today I dressed my niece in her pink army camouflage undershirt, put on her tutu and took her to Wal Mart for her photo shoot. Once there I wrapped her in the feather boa I bought her and placed the little silver tiara it came with on her head. I am talking Tutu Princess Supreme. I can not WAIT till we get the pics back. :P
As a sister however I am unsure. :P On the walk up Michael was commenting on how he is looking forward to summer but not the bugs. And then he mentioned our other brotherâs intense fear of earwigs. He started snorting at the image of Sean shrieking and crying like a little child from such tiny insects. And I started to laugh at WHY he feels that way. As children we watched Star Trek Wrath of Khan. Remember that nasty bug in ear scene?? After the movie I found an earwig and proceeded to pin Sean under my knee while pretending to drop said earwig in his ear, and the whole time I was taunting how it was going to eat his brain. Oh dear Iâm giggling now as I type it. :P

I am a walking disaster
18. Mars 2007 | en
Really, I should never be allowed out of my cage. When I decided I would apply for my German visa (as in started filling out the paperwork, because I actually decided I was going to work in Germany a grand total of maybe 10 times before I forked out the cash for the paperwork) Patrick told me to email his mother. With my on again/off again plans he was not sure if she had kept a room for us for the trip in May or not. Patrick being Patrick he insisted I email and tell her myself I was coming on the trip. He also suggested I show off how I have been practicing my German.
I cant type or spell in my own language. This poses problems for said skills in other languages. I THOUGHT that for the email title I had wrote: Achtung: Schlecht Deutsch ( Warning: Bad German). I just got this message from Patrick:
wanna hear something funny? My mum first thought your email was spam because it said âschleck germanâ which means lick German ;)
I truly am a walking disaster.

Skye J Bunny DollâŠOr My 8 Month Old Niece Ninjaed My Ass (Again)
22. Février 2007 | en
Look how cute and happy bunny doll is:
That is until I tried to change her diaper. I thought I was doing her a favor. Auntie Sherrie doing her auntie duties. From gurgling baby to growling monster. Her back arched, she grew fangs, and in Monty Python ooo what a cute little bunny style, she lunged at my throat to rip out my jugular. The last thing I saw was her red beady eyes.
From this:
To this:
before I could take off her diaper. I am torn between being impressed, as her ninja skills have the potential to far outweigh mine, (at 3 years old I needed 5 doctors and my father to hold me down for tests I did not want) to sheer terror at her immense power.

Visiting My Brother and My New Neice!
14. Février 2007 | en
And she growls…
Loud. :P She is beyond beautiful. So much so I want to bite her cute little nose. And I guess there is the catch. Skye is the happiest baby in the world. You cant walk past her without giant smiles and a high pitched “hi” directed at you. Until you try to touch her face. In particular her nose, as in even when it is encrusted with baby snot. Your smiling, charming baby morphs into a battle opponent that makes the gladiators of the Roman Colosseum appear merciful and kind. Of course I guess that is a fair reaction when your shrieking aunt seems intent on closing her teeth on your most prized possession. ;)
