Have now made it as far as Halifax. I have been awake for almost 15 hours, traveling for 13 of it. MSN wont work. So I pay per post instead! :)
May I also say Air Canada now has personalized video screens so you can choose your own movies. However making sure those movies don’t reset every hour seems to be beyond them as of yet.

They just announced that due to weather conditions in St. John’s we may not land. We will leave here and see if we can. If not we land in Gander, refuel and try again. If that is unsuccessful we will turn around and fly back to Halifax. I want to scream!!!!!

I made it first try. ;) For all those people who opted not to take the flight due to the very real possibility of the scary nightmare from Hell round about trip to just fly back into Halifax I feel sad. We went up, we came down. Very much like every other flight from Halifax to St.John’s. :P
And it’s been amazing. This morning I walked downtown after crashing at Suzanne’s and it never ceases to amaze me how nothing ever feels to have changed. Some new restaurants, and friends abnormally happy to see me, but otherwise it feels like I never left.
And I got the university position in Japan. 3 months, flight over and back paid for.
I see Skye J in less than a week. I am also feeling wonderfully sentimental about my family. Last night at supper I laughed so hard it hurt. I actually had to tell Sean and Dad to stop because I had crossed the threshold into serious pain. I couldn’t breath I was laughing so hard. So my next job is to convince my family how cool Europe is. They can all hang out in Spain (they do have beaches after all), and I can see them once a month instead of twice a year. :P (as yes, with or without Japan, I will go back to Germany). :P
