Wir haben es geschafft, wir sind endlich wieder unterwegs!

Sherries Englischunterricht und meine Javaprogramme liegen schon in weiter Ferne. Heute haben wir Pressburg (Bratislava) erreicht. An Österreichs Bergwelt sind wir nur vorbeigerauscht, doch jetzt soll unser eigentlicher Urlaub beginnen. Auf kleinen Straßen wollen wir die Karpaten durchqueren und so in die Ukraine gelangen.

Drei Wochen liegen vor uns. Wir haben diesmal Jackeline dabei, das Motorrad meines Vaters. Eigentlich heißt sie ja Pan European, aber Jackeline klingt persönlicher. Und sie soll uns ja sicher durch die Berge fahren also müssen wir uns gut mit ihr stellen.

what a site

so i have already started to loose trak of days and the adventures are starting to run together…..whoa is the life on the road!!
so this place we find on wed. nite, a place to camp wild, we found by accident. we were looking for a camp site that was on our map and instead we find a summer cottage resort…we set up our tent by the water and had a great fire and again cooked sausage and potatoes….that might get old….but at least its hot food and when you are starving…....!!!
so did i mention how beautiful the weather has been, not to jinx our good fortune but so far we have had brilliant weather….any way….how about the frogs, i have not had the pleasure of listen to so much lake front wild life in forever…it was a symphony….i didn’t realize how many sounds a frog can make, i though i was listening to cats meowing and babies crying….and it went on all nite followed of coarse in the morning by the bird song,....a cookoo bird!!!!fantastic….and riding thru the forest in spring is so aromatic…wow….
