still hot and give me a shower

nice riding today…..awesome castle in Hunedoara and then birgit’s super good off road experience down to Hateg…..rode thru this little town looking for a road that went to hateg and came to what looked like a path…very over grown…some women standing nearby confirmed that it went to hateg….we were amazed and decided to give it a shot…another short cut….this one actually was….luckily it was dry…the road had deep tire ruts but it made it fun and challenging….cool…..made it to hateg and saw some bikers….always a good place to start for info…they found us a pansion and the internet cafe….super cool….then the rains came…pouring down….it was perfect…we had a place to stay…it poured every time we were inside and stopped when we wanted to leave….so cool and it brought the temp. down to comfortable….

perfect rain

not exactly….the sun was shining in the morning….how great is that….packed the bikes and got ready to roll….birgit’s bike wouldn’t start….eventually it did…mine too was a bit tough…very uncharacteristic of my bike….but we got going eventually…seemingly ok….until the rain hit us again and road construstion…...birgit’s bike started to act funny….over heating very quickly…so we shut it off…then it wouldn’t start…nothing….we push started it…rode for a while then it quite again…this time in the middle of road construction and in a dip…what a pain in the ass…..we kept hitting road construction signals…forcing one lane to stop while the other came thru…...went on for miles…....eventually birgit couldn’t keep the bike running and it was a tiresome task to continue to push start it….joscha took the bike and risked death by not stopping at any of the signals!!!!! go joscha!!!!!....birgit and i followed but we stopped at the signals and we eventually met up with joscha when the construction ended…..the bike was mysteriously working fine now!!!!!....got to the next town and saw a scooter store…asked if they could take a look….well they were super nice guys, a bit too young and inexperienced..he pulled apart a taped up fuse and said that it was a problem….retaped it and set about recharging the battery..one fuse had a broken top and we replaced that to!!!!!!everything seemed good…the bike started…repeatedly…good….lets go…....
