another beach

last night continued with the amazing hospitality of the turks, after the internet cafe attendant gave us free orange juice we said goodnight and walk down the street deciding whether or not to get something to eat…we past a store that sold candy and cigarettes, joscha went in to get a pack of smokes and after some deliberation he made his purchase then the clerk came around the counter and handed each of us a piece of really nice candy, something with coconut !!!!!.....the next morning we woke….packed our things and went down stairs to check out…i struck up a conversation with the girl behind the counter, she spoke very limited english and yet she really wanted to talk and practice because she didn´t get many opportunities….she also bought us a tea…..we made our way out of town and down the road ….we needed to stop for food so that we could have a picnic lunch and also have food for dinner since we were wild camping tonight…..it is still so funny to me the attention that these bikes bring…. we found a cute little town for shopping, there were markets for fruit and veggies, a bakery with great aroma and the small market with everything crammed onto their shelves….at each stop we would come back to the bikes with a group of boys standing around looking and so very close to touching but very timidly, when they would see us they would back away….we say hello and they would smile and talk amongst themselves laughing and usually pushing one in the group out towards us…...boys…...we rode on and found a spring and picnic tables on the side of the road, we made tomato and cucumber salad with lemon…one of our favorite meals…so good and easy…..we were making coffee when this guy rides up on his mo-ped, he comes over and offers us some kind of drink from a bottle that looks like a crown royal bottle and doesn’t contain crown royal, we refuse, riding and drinking are not good, besides it is 1pm, this guy is plowed, already having finished half of this bottle. he is rambling on in turkish, we have no idea what he is talking about, i started rambling back to him in english, this goes on for about ten minutes, i think he got frustrated, then he gets up and wanders over to his ped and rides on down the hill….crazy….on we go toward the coast and to another deserted beach…....
